The photos on this site are a view through my window on the world.  Ever since I was eye level with roadside wildflowers and the small creatures who visited them, nature's details have fascinated me.  Film, and more recently, digital sensors, have allowed me to capture and share some of the moments that inspire me most.  The work of composing, waiting for the right combination of movement and light, and finally transmitting the medium into a viewable format are all worth it when I look at the finished image and re-experience the emotion that first drew me to the scene.  If you are able to smell the flowers and inhale the fresh air through these photos, then I have succeeded.  And perhaps you'll then be inspired to go for a walk and discover the beauty nature has in store for you when you slow down and peer a little closer.
